I come with an interesting link to a webcomic review site called Webcomic Overlook. There's only a couple of reviews (and mini-reviews) for some fancomics and while I don't always share the blog owner's opinions on some of these, I think it's always nice to look at things from different angles. So, some of you might enjoy reading these reviews, fancomic related or not.

I keep finding them and adding them to my delicious account, thought I should chuck them up here. Many of these are from fancomiccentral.

Following on from my previous post, the good non-Harry Potter comics I found on delicious. There's more on my delicious account. Also I don't read bandslash but there seems to be a lot of it out there if you're interested.

This Is Where We'll End It, by zoetrope. Due South, Benton Fraser/Ray Kowalski.

I must shamefacedly admit I haven't actually read this, since I don't like photocomics or Due South fic. But thefourthvine recced it, so it must be good for what it is, is what I say.

Two awesome comics.

First, via fancomiccentral:

Wishes: A Goblin Tale a pretty and engaging Labyrinth WIP by HollyBel. I usually react very strongly against Sarah/Jared and it hasn't horribly squicked me so far which is a good sign :)

G-rated Watchmen by EnvySkort. Because comics should be suitable for children! Very amusing :)

Second, via trouble: Lovelace and Babbage a set of great historical comics by Sydney Padua about the wacky adventures of the world's first computer programmers.

25th-Apr-2009 08:09 am - Half Life 2 comics

Concerned" The Half-life and Death of Gordon Frohman by Christopher C. Livingston is a hilarious parody of Half-Life 2 made in-game. I haven't played the game (though I have picked a bit by osmosis from having out with too many gamers) and still really enjoyed it.

Gordon's Glasses by Caroline Parkinson. Short, slight, sweet Gordon/Alyx story which would probably appeal to me more if I'd seen more of the game.

Title of comic: Mafdet, Slayer of Serpents
Source: Stargate, kind of a mix of the movie and SG1
author: Me! alias_sqbr

A light humourous gen comic set in 3000BC, inspired by my cat being very Goa'uld-ish :)
